Lacrimal Duct Surgery

Laser DCR completes the treatment spectrum and offers high patient satisfaction

Transcanalicular dacryocystorhinostomy (TCL-DCR)

Transcanalicular dacryocystorhinostomy (TCL-DCR) is a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of an obstructed nasolacrimal duct. A diode laser is used to open the nasal lacrimal sac wall in order to bypass the post-saccal obstruction in the nasolacrimal duct. This restores the outflow of tears.

Our FOX IV diode laser or our Wolf with the corresponding DCR probe are ideal for this procedure.
