A.R.C.Laser GmbH is a family business that has been pursuing one goal since it was founded in 1996: To develop lasers with an inventive spirit and high quality standards that enable gentle and effective applications in modern medicine. 

Our portfolio includes laser systems for ophthalmology as well as ear, nose and throat surgery, general surgery and veterinary medicine. Our customers are users from all over the world.

A.R.C.Laser develops and produces its entire product range at the Nuremberg site. And for good reason:

A.R.C. stands for

A. - Angela

Served as CEO at ARC for over 25 years. She grew up with lasers since 1978. The foundation of the company Meditec by her parents in 1978 made the word laser an everyday word. Her law studies led directly to the company where she continued to actively experience the excitement of lasers and their application.

 

R. - Reinhardt

Without question a pioneer for ophthalmic lasers. With the development of the first Nd:YAG laser for post-cataract treatment for commercial use, he set a milestone in ophthalmology as early as the 1980s. In the meantime, more than 100 patents have been filed along his path. But he has also demonstrated a high level of inventive talent in other medical fields. The blue laser in ENT sets new standards in medical laser application.  

 

C. - Colin

The next generation is already ensuring the continuity of the family business. Colin, trained as a mechanical engineer, is learning the art of laser construction from our engineers and from his grandfather.
